Privacy Policy
Wavo Water (“Wavo,” “we,” “us”) provides information about residential water testing, whole-home water treatment and point-of-use drinking-water systems. This Privacy Policy explains how we intend to collect, use and protect information submitted through wavowater.com and related communications.
1. Information we collect
When you request a free water test, consultation or quote, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, service address when provided, preferred appointment time, water concerns, water-provider information and messages you send us. Our ZIP-code water tool may use the ZIP code you enter to display an approximate utility profile; a ZIP code does not establish your actual provider.
When analytics or security tools are enabled, they may collect IP address, browser/device details, pages visited, referral source and cookie or similar identifiers. We will update this notice to identify material tracking tools before activating them.
2. How we use information
We use information to answer inquiries, confirm service availability, schedule and perform water tests, provide recommendations and estimates, coordinate installations and follow-up service, maintain records, prevent abuse, improve the website, and meet legal obligations. We may use information about your requested service to contact you about that request.
3. Calls, texts and marketing choices
Submitting a service request may allow Wavo to respond using the contact methods you provide, subject to applicable law. We will not treat a general inquiry as blanket consent to unrelated promotional automated calls or texts. If we introduce optional marketing SMS, we will present a separate, clear consent choice, disclose message frequency and possible carrier charges, and provide opt-out instructions. You may ask us to stop marketing communications at any time by emailing or calling us; reply STOP to an eligible marketing text when that functionality is active. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchase.
4. Sharing
We may share only information reasonably needed with website hosts, customer-management and messaging providers, scheduling services, payment processors if added, and installation or service partners helping fulfill your request. We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect rights and security. We do not currently plan to sell customer contact information or share it with unrelated businesses for their own independent marketing. We will update this policy if our practices change.
5. Security and retention
We intend to use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, limit access to customer information and retain it only as long as reasonably needed for service, records, legal requirements and dispute resolution. No website or electronic transmission is completely secure. Final vendor-specific retention schedules will be established before online forms are enabled.
6. Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you submitted by contacting us. We will review requests under applicable law and may need to retain certain information for legitimate legal or business reasons. If we activate optional analytics or advertising cookies, we will describe available controls and any legally required choices here.
7. Children
Our services are intended for adults and homeowners or authorized property representatives. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13.
8. Third-party and utility information
Our site may link to government water reports and third-party resources. Their privacy practices are separate from ours. Wavo is not a municipal water utility or government agency.
9. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as our website, service providers or legal obligations change. The date above indicates the latest revision. For privacy questions or requests, email erik@wavowater.com or call (561) 501-1950.
